Assistant Gallery Leader - LA Modern

Summary

The Assistant Gallery Leader provides on-floor leadership to gallery teams and supports the execution of a luxury retail experience. This role helps set strategy, coaches associates, and ensures high standards of presentation and customer service. The position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced showroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and develop gallery associates to deliver a luxury customer experience
• Represent the brand through polished communication and professional appearance
• Support leadership on new initiatives, training and execution of gallery strategy
• Recruit and attract talent across all levels to meet gallery needs
• Prioritize tasks, respond to complex priorities and drive results
• Maintain high standards of presentation, merchandising and guest engagement

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in high-end furniture, design showrooms, or luxury retail
• Interior design experience preferred
• Superior organization, leadership, analytical and decision-making skills
• Proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire teams
• Proficient with current technology (iPad, Mac, PC)
• Ability to lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs and to stand, bend and maneuver on the gallery floor
