Summary
The Assistant Manager partners with the Floor Director and Managing Director to run boutique operations, drive sales growth, develop clients through CRM initiatives, coach and supervise sales staff, and ensure compliance with store policies in a luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach sales staff to achieve sales objectives.
- Model exceptional service and maintain a visible management presence on the sales floor.
- Identify sales opportunities through business reviews and track deliveries and special orders.
- Contribute to or conduct touch base meetings and performance evaluations.
- Communicate CRM standards and ensure associate compliance for quality client capture.
- Manage scheduling, time and attendance records and monitor E-time.
- Organize seasonal trainings and share product and internal updates.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing and maintaining candidate database.
- Make critical client decisions and run the store in leaderships absence.
Requirements
- 4+ years of retail management experience.
- Prior luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, POS systems, Cegid and E-time.
- Ability to interpret sales data and make business recommendations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
- Flexible availability to meet business needs.
