Summary
Assistant Manager, Email will support creative planning and execution of email campaigns, manage A/B testing and the ESP platform, and collaborate with site, retail, creative, marketing, and data teams to optimize lifecycle and promotional programs. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical reporting, and the ability to build wireframes and technical briefs while ensuring campaign quality across devices and clients. This is an in-office hybrid role based in Tribeca, New York reporting into the marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end email campaign execution including planning, building, scheduling, testing, and deployment
- Develop and maintain A/B testing calendar and integrate tests into lifecycle programming
- Build email wireframes and submit creative and technical briefs
- Manage the Email Service Provider platform and liaise with internal IT teams
- QA campaigns to ensure accurate links, content, and assets across desktop, mobile, email clients, and dark mode
- Gather and report performance results weekly, monthly, and quarterly and recommend optimizations
- Coordinate with cross-functional marketing channel leads to share insights and content
- Collaborate with Data and CRM teams to identify audiences and enhance engagement strategies
- Monitor competitive trends and propose new ideas and testing opportunities
Requirements
- 3 years minimum experience managing and executing email campaigns
- Experience with Email Service Providers such as Bluecore and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proofreading ability
- Affinity for design, copywriting, and data analysis
- Proactive team player with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment
- HTML knowledge is a plus
