Summary
The Assistant Manager, High Jewelry Assortment supports product tools, training initiatives, and sales across Contemporary High Jewelry and Heritage collections. This New York-based role helps adapt global strategies to local markets and manages product allocation, analysis, and lifecycle activities in partnership with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support sales objectives through strategic product allocation, stock movements, and analysis of inventory gaps and opportunities.
- Maintain product knowledge tools and stock reporting, and share materials that support sales across the network.
- Coordinate inbound and export activity, transfers, international product rotations, and pre- and post-event allocations.
- Support product launches, including internal tools, presales, and collection of post-launch insights for future forecasts.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Marketing, and PR teams on allocation, product coordination, editorial needs, and quality control.
- Coordinate and prioritize quality control and repairs to maintain sellable stock.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in luxury marketing, merchandising, or retail; High Jewelry product experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree and knowledge of basic jewelry terminology.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with SAP and Power BI is a plus.
- Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed; French proficiency is a plus.
