The Assistant Sales Department Manager supports the department manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in the men's and women's shoes department. This role recruits hires trains and develops the sales team while contributing to merchandising inventory and loss prevention goals. The position involves active selling on the sales floor and executing business plans to meet volume and productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Recruit hire and train department sales associates
• Develop and execute business plans to achieve department sales goals
• Coach and lead the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service
• Actively sell on the sales floor to build customer relationships
• Support merchandising and presentation standards
• Assist with inventory management and shrink reduction
• Track and drive personal and team productivity
