Summary
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas boutique in overseeing day-to-day store operations, driving sales performance, and upholding brand standards. The role focuses on coaching and developing the sales team, managing customer relationships, and contributing to recruiting and training efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support store operations including business performance, customer service, and brand image
- Drive achievement of store sales targets and support team members to meet individual goals
- Maximize business potential and sales by department in line with company strategy
- Coach and mentor retail associates to develop competencies and improve sales
- Monitor client books and partner with staff to propose action plans
- Assist with recruiting, maintaining a pool of potential candidates, and facilitating new hire induction and training
- Enforce Bottega Veneta standards and procedures
- Perform operational functions including opening and closing the store, register, and back office management
- Maintain a fair and respectful work environment for all associates
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience in a managerial role
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with organizational awareness and flexibility
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of brand philosophy
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
- Available to work closing shifts at least 3 times per week, a minimum of 3 Saturdays and 2 Sundays per month, annual inventory, and the holiday season
- Ability to climb a ladder and regularly lift packages weighing 5-8 lbs
