Summary
The Assistant Store Manager acts as the deputy to the Store Manager, supporting store leadership to achieve sales and operational targets, delivering exceptional client experiences, and promoting brand standards. This role coaches and motivates the team, assists with business analysis and action plans, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in defining business strategies to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance
- Coach the team to exceed KPI targets including cross selling and up selling
- Lead by example on the sales floor to ensure exceptional client service and client development
- Foster omni channel and e commerce awareness and support timely order responses
- Participate in recruitment and talent identification and support staff training and development
- Ensure store operational activities including cash, inventory, logistics, and reporting are compliant with guidelines
- Collaborate on visual merchandising and boutique presentation to maximize sales
- Organize local events and liaise with stakeholders to promote the store
- Maintain grooming and product care standards for front and back of house
Requirements
- Proven retail leadership experience; ability to act as Store Manager deputy
- Strong client development and selling skills with focus on luxury service
- Experience coaching and motivating retail teams and driving KPI performance
- Knowledge of omni channel retail and digital tools to support client relationships
- Familiarity with store operational processes including inventory and cash handling
- Ability to analyze reports and develop actionable business plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to brand standards and attention to product care
