Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily operations to optimize sales performance, manage inventory, and deliver exceptional luxury client service. This role contributes to team development, operational excellence, and execution of business initiatives to uphold brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in delegating tasks and managing team performance.
- Identify opportunities to drive sales growth and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate communication between store team and corporate partners on sales objectives.
- Deliver high level luxury service and manage critical customer situations professionally.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with top clients and VIC initiatives.
- Coach and provide feedback to team members and create career development plans.
- Participate in recruiting and selection of new team members with HR partners.
- Oversee inventory management activities including cycle counts and stock consolidations.
- Manage store expenses and ensure adherence to internal operational procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of management and sales experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sales, operations, and inventory management.
- Ability to travel and work weekends as required.
- Capability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Experience enforcing labor laws and safety procedures with corporate support.
