Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, sales optimization, inventory control, and team development to deliver exceptional luxury service and drive business results. This role involves client relationship building, operational oversight, and collaboration with corporate partners to meet sales and service standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in delegating tasks and managing team performance.
- Identify opportunities to optimize sales growth and operational efficiencies.
- Facilitate communication between store team and corporate partners to align on objectives.
- Ensure the highest level of luxury service during the sales process and manage critical situations professionally.
- Develop and maintain relationships with top clients and manage VIC initiatives.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and career development plans for team members.
- Participate in hiring and lead team meetings to review performance and priorities.
- Oversee inventory processes including cycle counts, stock consolidations, and fiscal inventory.
- Manage store expenses, facilities reporting, and after sales processes including alterations and repairs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of management and sales experience, preferably in luxury retail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other digital tools.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of sales, operations, inventory management, and store procedures.
- Ability to travel and work weekends.
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
- Experience enforcing labor laws, safety procedures, and sales regulations.
