The Beauty Advisor provides an elevated client experience through personalized consultations, makeup and treatment application, and proactive clienteling to grow individual and department sales. This role focuses on achieving sales goals, maintaining counter standards, and using digital tools and social media to build a personal brand and client base.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic and event sales goals and department targets
- Deliver a dynamic service presence and create excellent client relationships
- Conduct professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications
- Use online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Actively participate on social media to grow personal brand and business
- Cross sell beyond a single line to increase client basket size
- Proactively offer appropriate in-store services to personalize the shopping experience
- Maintain clean, tidy, and welcoming counter standards
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry
- Demonstrated successful sales experience achieving or exceeding goals
- Comfortable using social media and technology for clienteling
- Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with attention to timing and listening
- Ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive inclusive team dynamic
- Problem solving mindset and openness to improving processes
