The Beauty Advisor provides an elevated client experience through personalized beauty consultations and sales, using product knowledge and clienteling tools to meet individual and department sales goals. This role involves building client relationships, performing makeup and treatment consultations, and leveraging social media to grow personal business. The advisor maintains counter standards and represents the brand professionally while supporting departmental initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed individual and department cosmetic sales goals
• Provide personalized consultations and professional makeup application
• Use clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
• Actively participate on social media to grow personal brand and business
• Cross sell across multiple lines to increase client basket
• Proactively offer in-store services to personalize the shopping experience
• Maintain a clean, tidy and welcoming counter environment
• Collaborate with team members and Account Executives as a department representative
• Perform ad hoc duties as needed to support the department

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry
• Proven sales experience achieving or exceeding goals
• Comfortable using social media and technology for client outreach
• Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem solving skills and ability to adapt communication styles
• Professional presentation and ability to establish client rapport
