The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty services while driving sales for assigned luxury beauty brands. This role balances selling, teaching, and customer relationship building within a commissioned retail environment and supports vendor events and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Provide exceptional customer service and build a customer following
- Handle sales, refunds, exchanges and open new rewards accounts
- Keep the department organized, clean and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving
- Strong multitasking, organization and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort with commissioned environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
- Physical ability to be on feet for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
