Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experience for an assigned beauty brand at the store counter. They deliver makeup applications, skincare consultations, and personalized product recommendations while maximizing sales through in-store and digital channels. This role manages vendor events, maintains counter presentation, and builds lasting customer relationships in a commissioned environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products aligned with customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and enroll customers in loyalty programs
• Keep the counter organized, clean, and customer-ready while staying current on beauty trends and product knowledge

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and drive to achieve sales goals using networking and technology
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends; comfort working in a commissioned sales environment
• Ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift up to 25 pounds
