The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for assigned luxury beauty brands at the store counter. This role balances selling and teaching, drives customer loyalty through in-person and digital engagement, and supports vendor events and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and enroll customers in loyalty program
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to keep area customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle customer concerns professionally
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in networking and using technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift and perform physical tasks including bending and lifting up to 25 pounds
