Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for an assigned beauty brand at a department store counter. This role blends selling, consultation, and teaching to maximize counter performance, grow a customer following, and execute vendor events and promotions. The manager drives sales through both in-store and digital channels while maintaining a welcoming, customer-ready counter.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products tailored to customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling, vendor events, promotions, and build strong vendor relationships
• Coach and collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer experience
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist with Nordstrom Rewards account enrollment
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and presentation standards
