Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences while maximizing sales for the assigned beauty brand. This role combines customer service, product education, and sales leadership in a commissioned retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply makeup, perform skincare analyses, and recommend products suited to customer goals.
• Set and achieve sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools.
• Manage vendor events and promotions, and build strong vendor relationships.
• Maintain an organized, customer-ready department and build customer loyalty.
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
• Collaborate with team members and stay current on beauty trends, products, and training.

• Passion for beauty, customer service, makeup application, and skincare.
• Strong customer connection, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to contribute to a welcoming team environment and handle customer concerns.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing and moving for 6-8 hours per shift and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
