Summary
The Beauty Counter Manager is a results oriented sales and teaching role responsible for maximizing sales for an assigned beauty brand through personalized beauty experiences, in store and digitally. This role includes performing makeup applications and skincare analyses, managing vendor events and promotions, and building customer loyalty in a commissioned environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in store and digital selling tools including text and social media
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges and open customer rewards accounts
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive customer environment
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to keep customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends product knowledge and training provided by company and brand partners
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to connect with customers and handle concerns
- Empathy and respect for customers during services
- Strong multitasking organization and follow through skills
