Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager oversees the Clarins counter at Valley Fair, driving sales and delivering personalized beauty experiences. This role blends sales and education—performing makeup applications and skincare consultations while coaching the counter team. The manager also handles counter operations, vendor events, and relationship building to maximize brand performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events, promotions, and in-store activations
• Build and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships to drive business results
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Maintain a customer-ready counter through organization, cleanliness, and visual standards
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming environment

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare with strong customer service skills
• Proven ability to connect with customers, resolve concerns, and build loyalty
• Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort working in a commissioned sales environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and vendor management skills
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on your feet for 6-8 hours, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift up to 25 pounds
