Summary
Provide expert beauty consultations and makeup services while achieving personal and boutique sales targets in a fast paced luxury retail environment. Support boutique operations including merchandising, point of sale accuracy, asset protection, and maintaining high standards of presentation and client service.
Responsibilities
- Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to boutique targets.
- Perform makeup application and beauty consultations using strong interpersonal skills.
- Inform clients about new products and beauty trends and promote house cosmetic offerings.
- Provide product training and share knowledge with boutique staff during meetings.
- Maintain selling floor presentation, restock supplies, and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
- Process transactions accurately and maintain CRM and after sales service records.
- Support POS reconciliation and report discrepancies to management.
- Follow asset protection procedures including tagging, key control, and participation in inventory counts.
- Provide prompt friendly client service including gift wrapping and packaging.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience; makeup skincare or fragrance experience preferred.
- Certification in Cosmetology and or Beauty and Fragrance.
- Excellent communication storytelling and client engagement skills.
- Ability to multitask maintain cleanliness and stay organized.
- Team oriented self starter able to work independently and adapt to schedule changes.
- Passion for art and fashion and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance.
- Willingness to follow asset protection and POS procedures.
