Provide personalized beauty consultations and makeup applications in a luxury beauty department, building customer relationships both in-store and digitally while achieving sales goals. Engage customers on trends, skincare, and makeup and support department presentation and events.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
- Recommend and sell ontrend and luxury beauty products
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Use text and social media to support digital selling and build a customer following
- Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Maintain department organization cleanliness and customer readiness
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive welcoming environment
- Stay current on beauty trends products and brand knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Strong customer service and ability to connect with customers
- Excellent multitasking organization and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort using technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand and move for 6-8 hours per shift and lift up to 25 pounds
- Empathy respect and ability to provide supportive experiences during services
