Provide personalized luxury beauty experiences through makeup applications, skincare consultations, and product recommendations while driving in-store and digital sales. Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming, organized department and stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge provided by brand partners.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to recommend products that meet customer beauty goals
- Engage customers to build relationships and grow a customer following in-store and digitally
- Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open customer rewards accounts
- Maintain department organization and cleanliness to keep it customer-ready
- Participate in trainings to stay informed on latest beauty trends and product knowledge
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
- Strong customer service skills with ability to connect and handle customer concerns
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Good multitasking, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales targets and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
