Job Description

Summary

Provide personalized beauty experiences in a department store setting by consulting on makeup and skincare, conducting applications and analyses, and driving sales both in-store and through digital channels. Maintain a welcoming, organized environment while staying current on trends and brand knowledge to build customer loyalty and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
  • Engage customers to understand needs and recommend products
  • Drive sales through in-store and digital selling including text and social media
  • Book appointments and support beauty events and services
  • Manage sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
  • Maintain department organization and customer readiness
  • Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment
  • Stay informed on beauty trends and product knowledge through training

Requirements

  • Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare
  • Strong customer service and ability to connect with clients
  • Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Drive to achieve sales goals and use of networking and technology
  • Ability to handle customer concerns with empathy and respect
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to complete required background checks
