Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury beauty department by engaging customers, performing makeup applications and skincare consultations, and driving sales both in-store and digitally. Support department presentation and participate in events and services to build customer loyalty and meet sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products aligned with customer goals
- Engage customers to understand needs and create personalized beauty experiences
- Set and achieve sales goals through in-store and digital selling using text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
- Open new customer rewards accounts and build customer loyalty
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through training
Requirements
- Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer connection and proactive problem solving skills
- Empathy and respect when providing makeup and skincare services
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through abilities
- Drive to achieve sales goals and willingness to use networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Capable of continuous movement and lifting up to 25 pounds
