The role focuses on achieving sales goals using selling tools including text and social media while maintaining a customer ready department and supporting cross-department needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Provide personalized styling advice and confident product recommendations
• Keep the department customer ready through stocking, remerchandising and price markdowns
• Fill orders and assist with light cleaning and merchandising tasks
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer engagement
• Work flexibly across schedules and occasionally support other departments
• Use technology and networking to expand customer following and sales

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated and goal oriented with a focus on sales
• Interest and aptitude for using social media and digital tools for selling
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to be on feet 6-8 hours with frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds
