Provide personalized beauty experiences in a luxury department setting by engaging customers, performing makeup applications and skincare analyses, and driving in-store and digital sales. Responsibilities
- Conduct makeup applications and perform skincare analyses to recommend products
- Engage customers to understand beauty needs and build customer relationships in-store and digitally
- Set and achieve sales goals using selling tools including text and social media
- Book appointments and drive sales for in-store beauty events and services
- Manage sales transactions, refunds, and exchanges
- Open new customer rewards accounts to build loyalty
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and customer-ready presentation
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
Requirements
- Passion for beauty trends, makeup application, and skincare
- Excellent customer service and ability to connect with customers
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and interest in using networking and technology
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform continuous movement and frequent bending, twisting, and reaching for 6-8 hours per shift
- Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
