Summary
Customer-focused salesperson responsible for achieving sales goals both in-store and through digital channels while building lasting customer relationships and providing personalized fragrance guidance. Role requires flexibility to support other departments as needed and use of technology and social tools to drive sales and Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve individual sales goals for in-store and digital selling
- Engage customers and build lasting relationships through personalized service
- Use text and social media tools to cultivate a customer following and drive sales
- Provide honest and confident product and style feedback to customers
- Assist with merchandising tasks including stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning
- Fill orders and support department operations to keep areas customer ready
- Open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer loyalty
- Be flexible to perform duties in other departments when business needs require
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented with ability to prioritize tasks
- Interest and ability to use networking and technology to achieve sales goals
- Ability to excel in a team environment and follow through on tasks
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Physical ability to be on feet and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
