Beauty Stylist

Summary

The Beauty Stylist drives beauty sales by demonstrating products and applying artistry techniques while providing one on one customer service. This role focuses on appointment based selling, building customer relationships, maintaining product expertise, and meeting sales goals through in store and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in store and digital selling
• Use selling tools including text and social media to engage customers
• Initiate service consultations to learn customer preferences and needs
• Build lasting relationships through follow up and recommending products
• Grow sales via appointment based selling and opening rewards accounts
• Create and host events and network in the community
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to identify key products
• Perform physical tasks including handling merchandise and assisting customers

Requirements

• 1+ years of beauty industry experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to follow through
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Capable of continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
