Summary
The Boutique Manager assists in managing boutique operations with a primary focus on delivering exceptional client service, fostering a professional environment for staff, setting performance standards, and working closely with the management team to support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed sales goals through strategies, clienteling, and sourcing new clients
- Evaluate team performance and provide consistent coaching and development action plans
- Stay current with market competition, watch trends and client shopping behaviors
- Forecast, plan and manage budgetary needs such as payroll and staffing
- Manage daily operational tasks according to brand standards including selling and service
- Assist with recruitment and retention efforts
- Serve as a leader in support of the Boutique Director
- Develop product knowledge and train the broader team
- Foster a boutique environment that delivers a luxury client experience
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail service experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Current knowledge of watch trends and marketplace competition
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proficiency with MS Office and retail systems for labor, inventory and sales reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
