Brand Ambassador - Designer Salon

Summary

Responsible for driving sales and representing a specific vendor line through technical product knowledge, client development and training other associates. Acts as the face of the brand in store, provides product feedback to merchants and vendors and partners with leadership to execute category strategies. Focuses on acquiring new clients, expanding existing client sales and supporting special events and trunk shows.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales for the assigned brand and execute strategies to meet individual sales goals
• Develop plans with leadership to support local business development
• Acquire new clients and expand existing client relationships
• Coordinate special orders, reserves and product movement between stores
• Coordinate department efforts for special events and trunk shows
• Educate and train associates on technical aspects of products
• Provide feedback to corporate buying office and vendors using recap forms
• Act as liaison between department and vendor representatives
• Model high customer service standards and perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of selling experience in like product
• Excellent selling and client building skills
• Training skills and basic math skills to interpret reports and set selling strategies
• Ability to communicate a clear vision and build trust quickly
• Strong networking and relationship management skills
• Product expertise and ability to educate customers and associates on product characteristics
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet customer requests
