Summary
Brand Ambassador responsible for delivering net sales targets and developing distribution and long term relationships with optical and wholesale customers in the assigned territory. Role includes presenting and selling optical frames and sunglasses, supporting trade marketing activations, and providing in store training and reporting. Position reports to the NYC Metro District Director and involves frequent travel within the territory.
Responsibilities
- Deliver net sales targets by brand within the assigned territory to opticians optometrists and ophthalmologists
- Build and maintain appropriate door distribution ensuring each brand preserves its DNA
- Develop strong long term customer relationships focused on maximizing sell through
- Present and maximize sell in of optical frames and sunglasses
- Execute visibility projects and trade marketing activations to drive sell through
- Provide in store training to retail and wholesale partners to maximize sales
- Prepare timely and accurate sales and activity reporting
- Collaborate with other sales divisions to achieve a balanced brand sales portfolio
- Travel extensively to visit clients up to 80 percent of the time
Requirements
- Proven track record of growing sales and building door distribution among wholesale customers
- Strong customer relationships built on service and trust
- Outstanding interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Experience within fashion luxury cosmetics or consumer goods environments
- Computer literate with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Based out of NYC or North New Jersey
- Available to travel up to 80 percent of the time
