Cashier

Summary

Cashiers provide a welcoming customer experience and ensure a seamless checkout process. They process transactions accurately, maintain customer information in the POS system, and keep the cashwrap area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer inquiries, and support sales through product knowledge, cross-selling, and upselling.
• Process purchases, returns, promotional offers, and Ship to Home orders accurately.
• Maintain customer profiles and salesperson data in the POS system.
• Keep the cashwrap and queue areas clean, support visual merchandising, and follow store procedures.
• Complete required training and collaborate with the store team.

Requirements

• Retail or similar experience in a high-volume or specialty environment is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for multiple hours, and lift or climb as required.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts.
