Summary
Client Advisor responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional luxury client service on the sales floor at Bloomingdale's 59th. Role focuses on client outreach, product knowledge, merchandising support and maintaining client records while supporting store opening and closing tasks.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through client outreach and appointments
- Utilize client journey and selling techniques including cross-selling and upselling
- Develop new clients via appointments and consignments and inform clients of new collections
- Establish and maintain client profiles and nurture long-term client relationships
- Maintain high level of product knowledge through trainings
- Assist management with basic opening and closing procedures and cycle counts
- Maintain visual standards for merchandise presentation and signage
- Work closing shifts and scheduled weekend days including Saturdays and Sundays
- Participate in annual inventory and holiday season staffing
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail sales or customer service experience, luxury retail preferred
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team oriented with strong work ethic and professional appearance
- Ability to be mobile on sales floor for extended periods
- Available to work specified closing shifts and minimum weekend schedule
- Ability to climb a ladder and lift packages of 5-8 lbs regularly
- Willingness to follow company policies and maintain respectful environment
