Concierge - Contract

Summary

The Concierge provides exceptional client service within a luxury department store environment, acting as an ambassador for the brand and ensuring a high-standard experience for all clients. This role manages inquiries and requests across multiple channels, supports sales-floor operations, and assists with store events and concierge vendor coordination. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain expert knowledge of store offerings and local recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistently excellent customer service to clients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Manage incoming inquiries and requests, resolving standard issues within policy and responding within 24 hours.
• Process gift cards and support the client services department as required.
• Support the sales floor as a POS super user and assist with event preparation, RSVPs, and ticket collection.
• Develop and maintain relationships with concierge vendors (florists, ticket brokers, car rentals, restaurants) and the concierge community.
• Maintain up-to-date information on local community recommendations and ensure event-related communications and in-store screens are current.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Proficient with computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Fluency in English and French (bilingual).
