Coordinator - Traffic

Summary

The Traffic Coordinator coordinates domestic transportation and supports traffic and purchasing operations at the Dayton Distribution and Service Center. This onsite role focuses on shipment coordination, invoice reconciliation, inventory of non-product materials, record keeping, and administrative support to maintain efficient logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pickup and transportation of materials to support business flows
• Follow up with carriers such as FedEx regarding reroutes and shipment status
• Perform weekly follow up on unbilled shipments to meet financial deadlines
• Maintain and update shipment logs to match invoices
• Receive and reconcile non-product inventory for projects
• Label and inventory non-product materials used for projects
• Coordinate transportation handling and delivery of project materials
• Maintain files and effective filing systems for the Distribution and Service Center
• Provide administrative and office support including signage and documentation

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related experience including internships
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Flexible schedule including extended holiday hours as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
