Seasonal Shipping Clerk

Summary

Seasonal Shipping Clerk responsible for processing outbound product shipments, preparing export documentation for international orders, maintaining shipping stations and supplies, and supporting related shipping and receiving functions. The role includes using shipping systems and coordinating carrier pickups while assisting other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process outbound product shipments using designated shipping methods
• Submit export documentation electronically to AES Direct for international shipments
• Use Pitney Bowes and QAD for shipping receiving verifying and picking
• Verify store and invoice information and pack items for all carriers
• Maintain organized shipping stations and order shipping supplies
• Schedule carrier pickups and prepare end of day reports
• File daily work records manually and electronically
• Assist with picking verifying and other department needs
• Organize consolidate and pack repairs based on daily priorities

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position or environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented with ability to multi task
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with R F scanning and shipping picking verifying systems
• Understanding of international shipment documents and customer requirements
• Ability to follow loading dock shipping receiving and security procedures
