Job Description

Summary

As a DEI Director at Louis Vuitton, you will play a pivotal role in driving systemic change and enhancing the company's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources, you will develop and implement strategies to foster a diverse and inclusive company culture, ensuring all employees feel recognized and valued.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a zone-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion strategic framework.
  • Support and advise the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Advisory Council on key pillars such as Talent Acquisition, Culture & Care, and Learning & Development.
  • Partner with HR, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition to create DE&I strategies and tools.
  • Review and enhance current practices and policies to support DE&I goals.
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams to ensure fair and equitable treatment of external vendors/partners.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of DE&I-related issues and best practices.
  • Work with the Internal Communications team to ensure inclusive messaging.
  • Provide strategic direction for training initiatives on cultural competency and inclusion.
  • Enhance internal efforts for employee participation in charitable giving.
  • Build and sustain community partnerships to support DE&I projects and initiatives.
  • Act as an internal consultant and champion for social impact considerations.
  • Participate in La Belle Vie at LV to enhance employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience as a DEI & Social Impact leader in a large multinational organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of benchmarks, leading practices, and innovations in DE&I.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Experience partnering with Legal teams for policy formulation and compliance.
  • Track record of developing robust DE&I and Social Impact strategies.
  • Understanding of institutional contexts, cultures, and politics impacting diversity change efforts.
  • Passionate about social causes and making an impact.
  • Strategic thinker with program design and implementation skills.
  • Effective influencer with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to motivate people.
  • Innovative mindset with ability to question the status quo.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and change.
  • Integrity and trust.
  • Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
