Summary

The Designated Beauty Advisor is a product specialist responsible for building deep, long-lasting client relationships and achieving sales targets for an assigned luxury beauty brand. This in-store role focuses on delivering exceptional service, sharing expert product knowledge, and driving brand loyalty and revenue through personalized client engagement. The advisor operates in a fast-paced, commission-based retail environment and partners with store and vendor teams to support brand initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver extraordinary customer service and personalized beauty consultations
• Meet and exceed individual and brand sales and service targets
• Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and retention
• Share expert product knowledge with customers and the store selling team
• Collaborate with buyers, vendors, and selling managers on assortment and marketing opportunities
• Support event execution, attend educational sessions, and drive brand marketing initiatives
• Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and sales support tasks
• Communicate with clients regarding events, requests, and follow-up; resolve customer service issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a commission-based sales environment
• Proven ability to exceed sales targets; luxury retail product specialist experience preferred
• Entrepreneurial, competitive, self-motivated, and highly collaborative
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
