Designated Selling Associate - Roosevelt Field

Summary

The Designated Selling Associate (DSA) provides one-on-one styling and sales support for Knot Standard within the Roosevelt Field Nordstrom, championing the brand and driving sales through appointments and customer relationships. The role emphasizes product education, measuring and fitting customers, and collaborating with peers to meet in-store and digital selling goals. DSAs also support merchandising and departmental upkeep while sharing product knowledge with the team.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers, fit garments, and mark areas requiring alterations
• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling, including appointment-based selling
• Build and cultivate lasting customer relationships and follow up strategically
• Provide styling guidance and honest product feedback to customers and the merchant team
• Lead and participate in DSA-run product knowledge meetings and peer trainings
• Maintain the department customer-ready: stocking, re-merchandising, displays, markdowns, transfers and cleaning
• Grow sales through opening Nordstrom Rewards accounts

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport and cultivate relationships
• Ability to excel in a competitive team environment and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Flexible schedule based on business needs and comfort using selling tools including text and social media
• Ability to read sales reporting and translate goals into selling activity; confidence with a range of price points
• Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and to lift items up to 25 pounds
