Engineering Manager - Inventory Positioning

As an Engineering Manager for Inventory Positioning, you will lead a team to optimize Nordstrom's inventory placement using AI, ensuring products reach customers efficiently. • Lead and manage a team responsible for the inventory positioning platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, roadmaps, and priorities.
• Work with data scientists to deploy and optimize ML models.
• Drive cross-team collaboration to align technical strategy and manage dependencies.
• Enhance organizational vision and strategy with guidance from senior leadership.

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering.
• 2+ years of experience managing teams.
• Ability to quickly understand complex business domains.
• Proven track record of shipping scalable systems for digital data.
• Experience with cloud-first distributed applications.
• Strong understanding of dev-ops best practices.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to Supply Chain or Retail is a plus.
• Experience with big data tools such as Spark and Airflow.
