Summary
Lead the engineering team responsible for hardware supporting supply chain facilities and corporate environments. Own technical strategy, standards, lifecycle management, and secure deployment for mobile computing, printing, and collaboration hardware.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop engineers responsible for hardware standards, deployment, and support.
- Manage technical roadmaps and lifecycle programs for Zebra mobile devices, industrial printers, and corporate conference room hardware.
- Establish device security, certificate management, and secure enrollment approaches.
- Partner with supply chain, distribution, fulfillment, and workplace teams to align technology with operational needs.
- Track fleet health and reliability KPIs, manage vendor relationships, and oversee planning and documentation.
- Support budgeting and total-cost-of-ownership analysis for hardware programs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of engineering experience with hardware, device management, or IT infrastructure, including at least 2 years in a people-management or team-lead role.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse mobile devices, MDM/EMM tools, and industrial or label printing systems.
- Familiarity with corporate conference room and collaboration hardware and SHA-2/PKI certificate management.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, managing work in Jira and Confluence, and tracking operational reliability metrics.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
