Facilities Associate - Fashion Island

Summary

The Facilities Associate executes maintenance and housekeeping initiatives for the Newport Beach Gallery to ensure the facility meets RH standards. The role coordinates preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance, oversees repairs of building systems and equipment, and works with the Gallery Team to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime. The associate supports a safe, efficient gallery environment through ongoing upkeep and response to facility issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to maintain optimum service levels
• Oversee repairs and upkeep of building, grounds, systems, and storage structures
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment including forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates
• Prioritize and schedule work orders to minimize downtime and support production needs
• Maintain a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA, Food Safety, and HAZMAT requirements

Requirements

• Experience with preventative maintenance and repair
• Demonstrated ability to identify and present process improvement opportunities
• Excellent communication and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to lift and mobilize items up to 30 lbs and maneuver around gallery, stock room, and office
• Capacity for prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing
