Receiving Support Associate - South Coast Plaza

Summary

Responsible for supporting the receiving and processing of merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment. Works with the store operations team to ensure accurate, timely handling of incoming shipments and proper stockroom organization. This part-time role supports floor readiness and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
• Tag, label, and prepare merchandise for stockroom storage or sales floor placement.
• Maintain organized stockroom areas and assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
• Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to record transactions and update stock levels.
• Assist store team with merchandise moves, returns processing, and floor replenishment.

Requirements

• Previous receiving, stockroom, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory scanners or point-of-sale systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established receiving procedures.
• Availability for part-time shifts, including weekends and peak retail periods.
