Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst at Ralph Lauren, you will play a crucial role in supporting the North America Retail FP&A team. You will collaborate with key business partners to drive financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial close and reporting processes. Your analytical skills will be essential in conducting monthly financial analysis, forecasting, annual planning, and ad-hoc analysis.

• Perform monthly close, forecasting, and reporting objectives for North America B&M Retail.
• Analyze operating results against budgets and prior year, compiling deliverables per monthly timelines.
• Prepare monthly forecasts for store level and overhead expenses.
• Engage with functional and corporate partners to update forecasts for various departments.
• Participate in the monthly close process, ensuring proper entries are recorded.
• Serve as a finance resource to business partners, managing expenses and providing reporting.
• Assist departmental leads in identifying risks, efficiencies, and opportunities through analysis.
• Create executive level reporting to support decision-making.
• Provide support in the preparation of annual Budget and LRP process for B&M Retail divisions.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and prepare various reports and presentations.
• Analyze existing processes and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of Finance or Accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or retail company.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility in adjusting to meet changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
