General Manager

Summary

The General Manager leads store performance, develops talent, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. This role translates brand vision into store operations while achieving sales, profit, and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales, margin, and profit performance, and execute strategic initiatives.
• Set the customer experience vision and lead client development and community outreach.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing store team.
• Manage inventory, shrink, store processes, and sales floor standards.
• Champion selling technology, uphold company policies, and share business trends with cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment preferred.
• Strong communication, business acumen, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to build positive relationships and develop teams.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts or travel.
• Ability to stand, walk, maneuver around the store, and lift or climb up to 30 pounds.
• College degree or equivalent is a plus.
