Summary
HR Generalist supporting the Distribution Center workforce including warehouse, call center, and support staff. Responsible for day to day HR operations, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, recruiting support, compliance, and partnering with leadership to drive retention and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first point of contact for employee questions concerns and workplace issues
- Conduct new hire orientation check ins and manage departure processes including exit interviews
- Assist with employee relations coaching and performance management
- Maintain HRIS data employee files attendance and payroll changes
- Support recruiting including creating job descriptions interviewing and liaising with temp agencies
- Manage event budgets and execute engagement events and annual offsite
- Lead communications for office wide updates and notices
- Maintain annual compliance requirements and update labor law posters
- Support workers compensation incident reporting and return to work coordination
Requirements
- 2+ years of HR experience distribution warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of HR practices employment law and HRIS systems Workday preferred
- Strong communication conflict resolution and organizational skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a high volume environment
- High level of professionalism confidentiality and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in HR Business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Spanish speaking preferred
