Summary
Repair furniture and accessories in customers' homes and company locations to meet quality standards while providing first-class client service within an assigned territory. This client-facing role requires strong communication, flexibility, and adherence to safety and quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Repair furniture to first quality standards in customers' homes, galleries, and delivery centers
- Perform touch ups on wood, leather, fabric, coatings, and finishes on various surfaces
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Promote and follow safe working practices
- Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements
- Visit clients within assigned geographic territory and build client relationships
Requirements
- Sense of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and attention to detail
- Ability to repair and touch up wood, leather, fabric, coatings, and finishes; knowledge of framing and furniture construction
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills for customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Ability to visit clients in assigned territory and travel as required
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to lift and mobilize items of at least 75 lbs
