Summary
The Operations Associate reports to the Boutique Manager and is responsible for maintaining boutique operations, managing inventory receiving and handling, and contributing to boutique profitability through timely and organized stock management and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Ensure permanent accuracy of store stock and conduct weekly and monthly cycle counts
- Organize and maintain efficient stockroom and on-floor stock presentation
- Receive deliveries from central warehouse and perform reception controls
- Manage and follow up on stock transfers between stores and stock sent for commercial activities
- Organize end of season returns and perform repair inventories
- Participate in morning team briefings and share operational updates
- Support stock requests from team members and complete store supply orders
- Manage shipping and VAT documents and book couriers, deliveries, and transfers
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales; luxury or jewellery experience preferred
- Strong customer service understanding and ability to build customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and lift up to 20lb regularly
- Ability to reach, bend, and occasionally use a ladder to access product
- Experience with inventory controls and stock management processes
