In-Home Furniture Repair Technician

Summary

The In-Home Furniture Repair Technician performs repairs on furniture and accessories to ensure items meet RH quality standards. This client-facing role involves visiting customers in their homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers within an assigned territory and delivering first-class service through strong communication and relationship-building. The technician provides quality assurance feedback and represents the brand in customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Repair furniture to first-quality standards in customers' homes, RH Galleries, and Home Delivery Centers
• Provide quality assurance and quality control feedback on repairs and product condition
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and promote a safe working environment
• Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to changing job requirements and schedules
• Visit clients within an assigned geographic territory and represent the company professionally

Requirements

• Sense of teamwork, ownership, urgency, and strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform touch-up repairs on wood, leather, and fabric and work with coatings and finishes on metal, stone, marble, and concrete
• Knowledge of framing and furniture construction methods
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, travel within territory, and lift/mobilize items of at least 75 lbs; must pass background check, drug screen, and MVR
