SummaryRalph Lauren is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team in Nutley. This role involves leading and executing a wide range of operational and compliance audits in alignment with the Company's global audit plan and risk assessment. The Internal Audit Manager will report to the Internal Audit Lead, North America, and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead and perform internal financial and operational audits of high-risk business processes according to the global annual audit plan.
- Discuss audit progress and findings with the IA and local management team, and draft audit reports with findings and recommendations.
- Support the execution and advancement of the Company's SOX program alongside the Sr. SOX Manager.
- Assess control design, perform and review operating effectiveness testing, and evaluate test results for SOX compliance.
- Coordinate with IA management and Regional IA teams across the US, Europe, and Asia to support internal audit strategy and KPIs.
- Coach and collaborate with peers and junior team members to ensure high audit standards and adoption of updated audit methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance audit activities through technology enablement, leveraging automation and data analytics.
- Complete high-priority special assignments and investigations as requested by Head of Internal Audit and senior management.
- Assist in department management responsibilities as needed.
Requirements- 5+ years of total work experience, with at least 3 years working with US GAAP/SOX compliant companies or multinational public companies.
- Public accounting experience preferred; Big 4 experience is a plus.
- Professional certification in accounting or audit discipline preferred, such as CPA or CIA.
- Retail audit experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Able to develop strong working relationships with management.
