Summary
The Fine Wine Manager will lead the Fine Wine division to implement strategy for sustained portfolio growth, manage distributor and prestige account relationships, and support commercial plans across assigned markets. The role partners with brand teams, regions, distributors, and trade to drive sales, manage allocations, and deliver training while working remotely in market based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of fine wine commercial plans and channel strategies.
- Manage allocations and inventory across markets and channels.
- Engage and align distributors to secure buy in and KPI measurement.
- Build and manage relationships with targeted trade accounts and national accounts.
- Provide sales driving education and training for distributors and trade.
- Support private client and e commerce sales efforts and consumer events.
- Coordinate with brand, regions, finance, and operations to optimize flow of goods and POS availability.
- Monitor competitive activity and report implications to Brand, Regions, and Business Intelligence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine wine or prestige beverage commercial roles.
- Strong relationship building and distributor management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Effective communication and training delivery skills for knowledgeable sales reps and accounts.
- Analytical capability to evaluate commercial requests and optimize plans.
- Willingness to travel and work in market across assigned states.
